While creating content in the magical Tenorio region, surrounded by volcanoes, waterfalls, and rivers, we were gifted with the extraordinary sight of a tapir in its natural habitat. Quiet, powerful, and deeply symbolic, this beautiful mammal has become an emblem of this land and a reminder of why conservation matters so much.
