Hotel Colinas del Sol tiene un fuerte compromiso con el medio ambiente y la sostenibilidad del mismo, participa en programas de reciclaje y tiene un 100% del agua caliente del hotel proveniente de calentadores solares, ademas producimos el 60% del consumo eléctrico mediante paneles foto voltaicos. Nuestra vegetación predominante presenta flora y fauna tropical. Somos visitados constantemente por diversas especies de aves tanto endémicas como emigratorias durante todo el año. Aunque estamos a solo unos minutos del centro de Atenas, a aproximadamente 1 km, nuestra ubicación permite el contacto directo con la naturaleza en un ambiente de tranquilidad y paz. We are a 15 rooms hotel, we have eqquipped villas and standard rooms in the center of Athens. We have a swimming pool, event room, wifi, cable TV, beautiful gardens and a 100% family atmosphere. Colinas del Sol was founded in 1997 by 4 Germans who fell in love with the beauty of Costa Rica. Builded in Atenas, a paradise that has fame as the one who has the best climate of the world. In 2011, the hotel was rated with 4 stars by the National Tourism Institute of Costa Rica. Today the place is frequently visited by national and foreign tourism. Colinas del Sol have a strong commitment with the environment and sustainability of it, participating in recycling programs and having a 100% of the hotels hot water coming from solar heaters, we are also producing 60% of oure electric consumtion with Photo voltaic panels. Our prevailing vegetation features tropical flora and fauna. We are constantly visited by birds, many endemic and foraign species during the hole year. We are only a few minutes from downtown Atenas, about 1 km, our location allows direct contact with nature in an atmosphere of tranquility and peace.
