If you arrive by car, our hotel is a perfect place to make a safe and secure "base camp" so you can explore the southern Nicoya Peninsula. We are only minutes away from all the attractions and tourist destinations in the area. You can go surf in Mal Pais in the morning and explore Curu National reserve in the afternoon without the stress of changing accommodations. Within an hour, you can reach Manzauillo, Santa Teresa, Mal Pais, Cabo Blanco National Park, Cabuya, Cobano, Tambor, Curu National Reserve, Paquera, and much more. If you're interested in surfing and specifically coming to Montezuma to surf. The green season in Montezuma is considered to have the best surfing in the area. Montezuma's coastline has many point breaks to choose from and a few beach breaks. We love the ocean, beaches, and enjoy water activites like surfing and ocean kayaking. We will be more than happy to offer you a total surfing package which includes our acommodations, surf lessons, surfboard rental, and some good times.
