A sad morning: just a few minutes after observing our hen with her two chickens and a group of wild grey-headed Chachalacas with their two chickens almost the same size not 10m apart, a forest falcon attacked our hen. She died almost immediately leaving two orphans who are now desperately calling for her 💔

The scarlet macaws are now visiting the nance trees in our pasture every day. They live the green nance fruit, they crack it open and eat the seed. We humans do just the opposite. We eat the (ripe) fruit and spit out the seeds.

We found this Ana's leaf frog (also blue-sided leaf frog) on our farm. What a good sign! This frog only exists where forests are healthy and free of agrochemicals!

Encontramos esta rana dormilona en nuestra finca. Que buena señal! Solo vive donde los bosques estan sanos y libre de agroquimicos!

Wir haben Ana's Laubfrosch bei uns gefunden! Was für ein gutes Zeichen! Dieser Frosch existiert nur wo Wãlder gesund und frei von Landwirtschaftsgiften sind!
