Three days of deep community at Cultura Ancestral culminated last night with a ceremonial closing fire offering, prayer, and a tribal dance inspired by an unexpected gift of rain! What a miraculous closing to a weekend of powerful integration and seed planting.

Indigenous voices, ritual, music, dance, and story reconnected us to what was never truly lost, the simple remembering that when we return to our origins, we become impossible to break.

Cultura Ancestral continually showed us what the new resistance can look like.

Thank you to all who came and supported and joined us in the fight against fear based control, designed division, extraction from Mother Nature, and the tactical weakening of our collective spirit through isolation and technology.

Building authentic community is the resistance and the power that a controlling system has slowly taken from us.

🌿 Permaculture tours at the Toji Food Forest are a great addition we offer our Toji guests and the entire community.

This tour consists of a walk through Toji’s Regenerative food forest and naturally built tree house, where we have applied applied permaculture principles to grow healthy food and build living spaces with natural materials.

We are so excited to share some moments from the OG Origins retreat experience that changed all of us who were lucky enough to take part at Toji. If you are in a time of uncertainty or transition or feeling like you don’t belong in the current systems, the Origins Retreat experience can help you take real steps toward a new path of clarity and connection. This retreat is about truth seeking, and you don’t need to have any wellness experience to come and seek the truth you are looking for.

Our forever gratitude goes out to our Indigenous sisters and brothers who co create with nature and our facilitators to make the Origins retreat turn from vision to reality. Doña Carmen and Xiñia of the Ngöbe, of the Bribri, DagoBerto and Taycomapchua of the Maleku, and to for your guidance in Temazcal.

It’s been amazing to witness the different healers that come together at Toji to co-create these vessels for community, truth and connection that we all are looking for. We are super excited to see who will be called to join the next Origins retreat (May 17-23 link in bio) and join our growing village!

In 2026 we will share more testimonials from the lovely humans who host, work, and visit this sacred land at Toji so we can spread the change in living and consciousness that we are all collectively moving toward... So basically Brielle and Sarah from .retreats recently asked us why we don’t have more testimonials from retreat leaders or guests talking about Toji, the power of the land, and our team’s authentic care. We didn’t have a good answer so they offered to be the first testimonial from leaders who co-create with Mother Earth here at Toji to transform lives and shift perspectives.

Thank you both and thank you to all who have visited in our first 3 years of healing, growing, and learning together.

Reminiscing of dry season sunsets 🌅 while we are in the most rainy month of the year!

This beach is Esterillos Oeste, just 10 min away from Toji, known to be a charming fishing town that attracts surfers, nature lovers and of course fishermen.

This town is one of the more important communities in the area, and we’re proud to say we have shown continuous support through school donations, beach clean ups and now a FARMER’S MARKET! 🥥🍍🎨

The next edition of the farmer’s market will be OCTOBER 25TH. We will bring our organic farm’s produce, amazing Chef Yayi creations and good vibes! Don’t miss it if you’re in the area :)
