This is the most satisfying way to make coffee at Whispering Pine Cabin. ☕️🪵

There’s something different about starting a fire, boiling the water yourself and slowly brewing a fresh cup of coffee the lumberjack way. 🪓🌲

DON’T FORGET TO PUT THE STAND IN BEFORE YOU MAKE THE FIRE. 😂🔥

What you’ll need:

• A torch
• Fire starter
• Small pieces of kindling
• Dry firewood
• A kettle filled with water
• The kettle stand
• Ground Costa Rican coffee
• A chorreador and cloth coffee filter
• Your favorite mug

And the best part? Everything you need is provided during your stay. 😊

How to make lumberjack coffee:

• Place the kettle stand in the centre of the fire pit.
• Chop up some extra-small pieces of kindling if needed.
• Start your fire using the fire starter, torch and small pieces of kindling.
• Add dry firewood to get the fire burning big and strong.
• Place the kettle on the stand and bring the water to a boil.
• Add the ground coffee to the cloth filter.
• Slowly pour the hot water over the coffee grounds.
• Let the coffee drip completely into your mug.
• Sit beside the fire and enjoy the freshest cup of coffee imaginable.
