Our boutique Bed and Breakfast in Costa Rica is located 2 minute walk from Matapalo beach and is surrounded by a lovely tropical garden where monkeys and sloths are seen very regularly. Observe them from your hammock at your outdoor living area or from the lounge deck next to the swimming pool. You can cool down in our pool enjoining a refreshing drink from the swim-up bar. All rooms come with a p

rivate patio, air-conditioning, a big king size bed, a private bathroom and are cleaned daily. We offer 4 room types; lovely double rooms, stylish deluxe double rooms, a spacious junior suite and a very private deluxe suite. We are proud of our wide breakfast menu; freshly made and always included in the room rate. Our Bed and Breakfast is ideal for those who are looking for a tranquil ambience and are travelling without (their) young children. However, you are welcome to come with kids from 15 years and older. Playa Matapalo is a hidden Gem! The long stretched-out beach is still pristine and quiet; no crowds here! Playa Matapalo is easy accessible and centrally located in the area of Manuel Antonio, Dominical and Uvita. Come by car (no 4x4 needed)!

🌿✨ A double toucan surprise in the garden today. An elegant Aracari, and a Chestnut mandibled beauty — both just casually hopping between the trees as if they own the place.
These rare sightings are the kind of moments that make our little corner of Playa Matapalo feel truly alive. And yes… they’re in addition to our regular visitors: playful monkeys, slow moving sloths, and the macaws that paint the sky red and blue.
If you love waking up to nature at your doorstep, this is your kind of paradise.
