At Wasi we are so happy to have these women from Biriteca Agroecológica CR at collaborate on rejuvenating our gardens. It is so refreshing to work with people who really love and care for the land and the plants and who are badass enough to spend the whole day in the rain, recollect and chop a mountain of biomass and lovingly process it into compost to feed back the the soil from which it came. Deep gratitude for all of your hard work, for your love of Pacha Mama and your smiles through it all. I love women with machetes!!

En Wasi estamos muy felices de que estas mujeres de colaboren en el rejuvenecimiento de nuestros jardines. Es muy refrescante trabajar con personas que realmente aman y cuidan la tierra y las plantas y que son lo suficientemente rudas como para pasar todo el día bajo la lluvia, recolectar y picar una montaña de biomasa y procesarla con amor en compost para retroalimentar el el suelo de donde vino. Profunda gratitud por todo su arduo trabajo, por su amor a Pacha Mama y sus sonrisas a pesar de todo. Me encantan las mujeres con machetes !!

A work-trade opportunity is currently available (and up through December) for the right person/couple at our jungle property on the Osa Península in Costa Rica!

Private room or cabin, fresh well water, all utilities including internet provided.

We have a few different projects here during the rainy season that we need support on that revolve around remodeling and/or landscaping. So looking for people with carpentry, and other building skills and/or individuals willing and able to do yard, maintenance, landscaping and cultivation work.

Depending on skill, experience, tools available, time, etc the opportunity could also expand into other compensation for additional work.
