Our lodge offers the perfect combination between isolating yourself in nature and staying close to all Monteverde´s facilities.

We are located 2 kms from the main town – literally in the middle between the Monteverde Reserve and the Santa Elena Reserve. Located in a quiet & secure location, surrounded by 70 acres of private property with primary and secondary forest, Cloud Forest Lodge offers 5 kms of private trails where you can find more than 180 species of birds. loud Forest and Gulf of Nicoya. Right from our Restaurant and Bar you can enjoy beautiful and unique sunsets. Come and enjoy a quite and comforting time in our bungalow-style bedrooms. All rooms offer private bath, amenities, hot water and a patio where you can appreciate the tranquil beauty of our surrounding gardens and forest. We also have rooms for handicap (bathrooms and ramps).

🌿 Nothing makes us happier than hearing about memorable moments shared in the cloud forest.

“Rooms were very clean. They would clean rooms multiple times a day. Breakfast was excellent at Endémica with wonderful views of the cloud forest. We saw so many hummingbirds while having our breakfast.

If you are not staying here, I would still recommend Endémica Restaurant. Food was outstanding and they had an entire vegetarian menu. Staff at Endémica were amazing. Jose, Dennis and Priscilla took care of us and our toddler very well. Highly recommend this place.”
