One of our favorite compliments came from a guest who told us she started every morning swimming laps in our pool. It became her daily workout during her stay.

When we designed Coco Nosara, we intentionally built one large shared pool instead of several small private ones. As a family of five, we wanted a space where kids could play, adults could relax, and everyone could enjoy it together. The shallow end is perfect for little ones, while the deeper end is ideal for lap swimming and adults.

After welcoming more than 200 families and groups, one thing comes up again and again—our pool is a guest favorite.

One of the things we love most about Nosara is its beautiful Senderos—the shaded jungle paths that connect Guiones and Pelada.

When our kids were little, we spent countless hours exploring these trails, and even now that they’re older, it’s still one of our favourite family walks.

A stroll through the Senderos is the perfect way to escape the midday sun. Surrounded by nature, you can walk from Coco Nosara all the way to Bodhi Tree for an incredible acai bowl or a fresh tropical smoothie.

What surprises us is how many guests—even those who have visited Nosara multiple times—have never discovered these hidden paths. Every family we’ve recommended them to has come back saying it was one of the highlights of their trip.

The natural beauty of Nosara is what makes this place so special, and the Senderos are one of its best-kept secrets.

Muazzzi Taste of Jerusalem… WOW! 🤍 Muazzzi

With Middle Eastern roots and a pretty discerning palate when it comes to our own cultural cuisine, we walked in with high expectations—and left completely impressed.

Without a doubt, this was one of the best meals we’ve had in Nosara. Every dish, every bite had us talking about how delicious it was.

Good food. Good company. An end-of-the-school-year family dinner we’ll always remember. We savored every bite and every moment together.

There are a few great e-bike rental options here in Guiones, each with something a little different to offer. 🚴‍♀️☀️

Local tip: the mini e-bikes at the Gilded Iguana are the perfect size and a huge hit with the adolescent kids.

Exploring Nosara by e-bike is one of our favorite ways to discover the beaches, trails, and local spots around town.

We’re grateful for every review we receive, but this one really meant a lot.

This family arrived with four young kids just as Nosara was hit by one of the biggest storms in over 50 years. Across the region, people were dealing with power outages, water disruptions, flooding, and fallen trees. Life in the jungle can be unpredictable!

What stood out most was how our incredible community came together. We all worked together to make sure this family was safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their stay.

We like to joke that Nosara gave them a proper initiation—and they passed with flying colors! 🌴🌧️☀️

After-school pickup in Nosara looks a little different. 🌿🐴

One of my favorite parts of living here is the drive from Guiones into Nosara town—passing fields of grazing horses and cows, spotting wildlife along the way, and occasionally stopping for a chicken crossing the road. It’s a simple reminder to slow down and enjoy the beauty all around us.

This is what makes Nosara so special—nature, animals, and unforgettable moments around every corner.
