As we wrap up a season and take down our art exhibit, Transformation, we want to honor all the people that collaborated, trusted and helped us in creating the show.
First and foremost, lots of love and gratitude to the very talented group of artists we worked with , , , , , and .loba, whose beautiful work is not featured here, as she came into the fray later in the game.
Thank you for your trust, goodwill and general sweetness. It’s been an honor to have your work gracing our space—it’s been beloved and admired by many, and traveled home with some.

Our vision for Driftwood is to be a space where people can find silence, music, and healing hugged by the natural beauty of this land and the company of wilderness.
Driftwood was built in harmony with the land and creatures living here. No mature trees were disturbed or cut and more have since been planted and taken care of, making Driftwood a protected and nourishing home for us and the flora & fauna around who come to enjoy the fruits. Driftwood was built using eco-friendly materials such as rock from this land and, of course, local driftwood. The waste water (grey and black water) is treated by the constructed wetland and a bio digester which prepares the water to be used for underground irrigation. All our cleaning products and soaps and shampoos are biodegradable and we reuse the containers with our supplier.
With a commitment to nature and animals as the basis for our wellness center, we add a commitment to healing and strengthening our physical, mental and spiritual bodies.
At Driftwood we host retreats, festivals, and trainings with yoga, breathwork workshops, ceremonies, music, juice cleanses, shamanic practices, shiatsu, etc. During these gatherings we have healers available for the participants. This work is so important and we want to help connect different healers and healing modalities and be a meeting place in Costa Rica. If you would like to host a retreat please reach out to us, we would love to plan some magic together.
In addition to the retreats and trainings, we host parties and festivals. Past the infinity pool, there is beautiful land where we have space for camping and a stage. For smaller gatherings we will use the yoga shala as a stage, for bigger events we will set up a stage down below to allow for more guests. We also venture out to the beach to a private cove where we can set up at night for music around a fire.
We want to bring together our family and friends from around the world to come meet our family here in Costa Rica.
We feel so blessed to have been able to create this space on this land to come together in love and healing.
