Dear Friends,
30 Years Ago... I embarked on a life-changing journey.
When I stepped onto that plane in 1996, I had just turned 20 years old. I was excited, nervous, curious, and completely unaware that the decision I was making that day would shape the rest of my life.
At the time, it was simply an opportunity to travel. An adventure. A chance to see more of the world.
What I didn't know was that this journey would take me across oceans, through different countries, careers, cultures, challenges, and opportunities. It would teach me resilience, independence, adaptability, and courage. It would introduce me to lifelong friends, unforgettable experiences, and lessons that no classroom could ever teach.
Looking back now, 30 years later, I can honestly say that boarding that plane was one of the most defining moments of my life.
The young 20-year-old who left home in 1996 could never have imagined where the journey would lead.
Most importantly, a story of a life well lived
and a journey that is still far from over.
