Así es… ya tenemos nuestro propio set de plastilina del Camping Babsita 🎨😂
Con el equipo, las cabañas, los perros, la playa… ¡y hasta la cerveza fría!

Pero ojo:
Jugar en casa está bien…
pero vivir la verdadera experiencia en la selva, con el sonido del mar y las olas rompiendo… eso NO tiene comparación. 🌊🌴🔥

📢 Volunteers Wanted! 🌴 Camping Babsita – Playa Estrella, Costa Rica

From April 2026 we are urgently looking for motivated volunteers for at least one month (longer is great – especially April, May & June)!

Do you want to live right by the sea, experience the Caribbean, and be part of a small, friendly team? Then you've come to the right place!

🏝️ What we offer:

· Dream location directly on Playa Estrella (between Cahuita and Puerto Viejo)
· Accommodation in a simple but cozy cabin (private or shared)
· Basic food supplies (rice, beans, vegetables, fruits, etc.) – we cook together
· Open communal kitchen, pizza oven, two showers, two toilets, beach access
· A relaxed, family-like team with lots of nature, sloths, and the sound of the ocean

🛠️ Your tasks (approx. 25 hours/week):

· Cleaning and preparing cabins for new guests
· Keeping common areas clean (kitchen, showers, toilets)
· Beach maintenance (unfortunately the ocean sometimes brings in plastic)
· Assisting with guest check-in and providing information
· Helping with simple repairs and maintenance work (small fixes, gardening, etc.)
· Cooking together and being a reliable team member

✅ What you should bring:

· Independence and a sense of responsibility
· Team spirit and a positive attitude
· Basic English or Spanish skills (to communicate with guests and the team)
· Ideally some experience in camping/hostel work, or simply a willingness to help
· Comfort with simple, nature-oriented living

📅 Duration:

· From April 2026, for at least 4 weeks (longer stays very welcome, especially May & June)
· Trial period: 1 week to see if it's a good fit for both sides

🌿 Camping Babsita – Volunteer Opportunity 🌿
Playa Estrella, Caribbean Coast, Limón — Costa Rica

Seeking 1–2 Responsible Volunteers (April – July 2026)

Camping Babsita, a small and peaceful campground directly on Playa Estrella, is looking for 1–2 positive and reliable volunteers to join our team. After some challenging experiences, we are looking for truly committed individuals who want to be part of our little community.

Volunteer Duties Include:

· Keeping the campground and common areas clean
· Cleaning cabins
· Raking leaves and maintaining the beach area
· Assisting with cooking and sharing meals
· Helping with guest check-in (cabins and camping sites)

What We Offer:

· A private cabin to stay in (basic but cozy)
· Basic meals (rice, beans, potatoes, fresh fruits from the farm like papaya, bananas, plantain)
· A beautiful natural environment right by the sea – monkeys, sloths, and the ocean as your daily companions
· A small, friendly team (Lester, Mary, and our animals!)
· Opportunity to extend your stay if it's a great fit for everyone

Requirements:

· Responsible, positive, and proactive attitude
· Good communication skills in English or Spanish (both is a plus)
· Willingness to work independently and as part of a small community
· Past volunteer or work references required
· Flexibility and a sense of humor 😊

Schedule & Details:

· Trial period: 1 week to ensure it's a good fit for both sides
· Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week, flexible schedule
· Duration: April – July 2026 (extension possible after trial)
· Volunteers provide their own additional food beyond the basic meals
