“Cool story on this day. This was our last day and we gave the reins to our skipper Javi to do what he wanted to do. He was adamant that we marlin fish, so marlin fish we did.

We ran 40 miles to the deep deep, quickly made bait and put out the spread. It wasn’t 5 minutes before we had a blue on the right teaser. We hooked that fish on a pitch bait and that marked the beginning of an incredible morning.

We ended up raising 7, getting 6 bites, and landing 4. The ones we landed were fun size for 50lb class gear and stand up, somewhere in the 125 to 225 range. We had one good one around 350 on for a few seconds that threw the hook early in the fight but thats the game.

We probably marked 30 or more likely marlin throughout the morning, just incredible. Always trust your skipper!
