One of the best experiences in our region is the Corcovado National park tour!
We work with Corcovado Hiking tours, an excellent company with great local guides with tons of knowledge.
The most popular day tour is the La Sirena Ranger station experience. It is the most remote station which is only accessible by boat. It is only an hour and a half boat ride from Puerto Jimenez along the beautiful coast line of the Osa. There are chances you may see dolphins or whales along the way. Cost is $147 per person and includes a great lunch at the station!
But you can also access the park by ground transfer through Carate and La Leona Ranger station. That trip involves a lot more hiking, but it is also a great day tour!
Another option is to stay overnight in La Sirena which is a once in a lifetime experience (imagine sleeping in the jungle in open air style beds, in the middle of all the wildlife there)!
