PUERTO JIMÉNEZ
Local business owners , hotels, and tour agencies TAKE NOTE...
Corcovado Park is our main tourist attraction. Five years ago our competitor Drake bay put a fleet of boats going to sirena for a one day tour. Since then we have lost up to 100 tourist per day that use to visit PJ. Everyone knows if your in sirena in the morning you will see 60 to 100 people a day coming from D. bay by boat.
Starting this season we have 1 boat operater that can take 15 people a day to sirena from Puerto Jimenez to help us try to increase our tourism. The problem is Minae will allow one person purchase 10 park permits per day. So Drake bay sends 4 to sometimes 10 people a day to the park office here in PJ to buy up all the permits. So that leaves us here in PJ with none.
I as a hotel owner here in PJ can not send any tourist to sirena for a day tour until Jan 5 th 2020... Because there are no permits. How can we operate here in PJ with those kind of rules concerning permits. Solution? Maybe PJ should get 40 a day and drake 60? Not fair....We the business owners need to reunite together and fix this situation quickly.... Please post your suggestions.... Thanks...

We have 28 yrs experience here. This is by far the best way to visit the Corcovado Nacional park.

I purchased 6 new hotel grade Simmons beauty rest pillow top mattress with sheets for the cabinas. We are always trying to upgrade thing's here at cabinas tropicales to provide a confertable stay for you. Pura vida.
