We will say this time and time again, “Our Caribbean” (Puerto Viejo to Manzanillo) has the best tasting food and drinks, and the Piña Coladas are no exception. They’re made with real coconut milk and fresh pineapple. They go down smooth as silk. Be careful though, they pack a good punch too.

This particular drink was made by Sol del Caribe in Cockles (another one of our favorite restaurants in the area).

Surf Lessons at Surf Beach are a fun local activity.

At Cocles Beach you’ll find a surfboard rental station and Surf School. The owner-operator, William also sets up a tight-rope course and volleyball nets for beach goer use.

If big waves aren’t your thing (yet) don’t worry, there’s always a mellow “second wave” to ride safely to shore. His one-on-one lessons are open to all ages.

One of my favorite adult beverages is the Costa Rican It consists of the juice of a few lemons, beer, and a salted rim (oh, and ice because beer gets warm the minute you pour it into the cup here 😄).

They’re so crisp and refreshing. If you enjoy cold brewskies, you definitely need to try these babies. 👌🏽👌🏽
