WOW!! Our guest recently sighted a healthy puma at Parque Nacional Marino Ballena. This is an incredible event that serves as a powerful testament to the collective conservation efforts of local communities and the entire country.

This sighting also reinforces the long-term benefits of the commitment to a sustainable model of progress, that ensures that both nature and the communities that rely on it can continue to thrive together.

We had a very special visitor at our mango tree yesterday. A Northern Tamandua—also known as an anteater or "Oso Hormiguero"—stopped by to feast on a termite nest. It was mesmerizing to observe its specialized adaptations, including its prehensile toes and tail, long sticky tongue, and thick fur, as well as having the opportunity to witness its behavior. A special thank you to Mr Rene Roggo and Mrs Pia Roggo for capturing and sharing the encounter.
