We are sad to inform you that Casa Rector's furry friend, Yanko, passed away. Yanko was very sick with heart worm, but is now in a peaceful place!

Good morning!

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed you home! I can’t seem to find out how to post a review but wanted to let you know we thoroughly enjoyed it. Maribel and Arturo were wonderful. Mom and I got to use our Spanish and Maribel enjoyed that. The dialect is a bit different but still able to communicate. My mom is a Spanish teacher, so she uses the proper Spanish.

The grounds were fantastic. Arturo kept the pool sparkling and had the hammocks out every day for us. Which we used. With 9 of us, someone was always in them. He even watched out for us at the beach. The twins and my husband loved the beach. The black sand was different for us since we have brown sand in the Gulf of Mexico. I know some complained that the water was rough but the kids enjoyed body surfing it. So no complaints from us.

Michael was at the airport to pick us up. We took two tours with them. Come to find out his twin girls are the same age as our twin boys and born the same day. Lots in common. We met Ronald his dad also. He took us to Isla de Tortuga for the day.

Maribel, aww Maribel! To much to say about that precious woman! She is a gem. She took us shopping at the store first day. We even took her out later in the week to local shops for stuff to bring home. On food, She fixed local meals. We wanted authentic dishes local to area. We ate good.
Arturo even got fresh fish off the boat for us. Delicious!

So I wanted to tell you, we enjoyed your lil gem in the sun down there. Thank you so much.

Welcome to Casa Rector Beach House. This house is located one and a half hours west of San Jose (the Pacific side of the country). The house is approximately seven miles away from Puntarenas, a popular city in Costa Rica. The family-owned house is on a lot of property about two plus acres in size. The house includes six bedrooms: five of which contain their own bathrooms and one which connects. The rooms combined can accommodate twelve. The home is perfect for a group or for multi-families. The bedding and linens are supplied. The top floor of the house includes the eating area and a full kitchen, stove, refrigerator, microwave, and utensils. Located on the property you can find six different types of fruit growing and many exotic flowers. The property also has a large, freshwater, ceramic tiled, in ground pool.

More Details: The pool is 3 ½ feet deep on the shallow end and 6 ½ feet in the deep end. Picnic tables and a barbecue hut are located around the pool. The beach is located at the edge of the property; we consider it our backyard. Once at the beach you can walk several miles in each direction. A gardener/guard is on the property at all times to ensure a clean and safe time. A cook or babysitter can be provided for an extra charge.
