🌿🦥 An unexpected little guest at Buena Vista Plus 🐾
Sometimes, being surrounded by nature means that very special visitors find their way to us. 💚
Today, our staff had the opportunity to rescue this little anteater, who was found completely alone and in a very vulnerable situation.
He was in immediate danger from three unleashed dogs, which had previously attacked wildlife in the area. With no mother nearby and the little one unable to protect himself, our team stepped in to keep him safe.
We immediately contacted the appropriate wildlife authorities and organizations so that he could receive the proper care and be handled according to Costa Rica’s wildlife protection regulations. 🌿🇨🇷
At Hotel Buena Vista Plus, we are incredibly fortunate to be located right in front of the beach and surrounded by the incredible biodiversity of Manuel Antonio. Because of this, encounters with wildlife are sometimes part of everyday life. 🐒🦜🦥🐾
We believe that living alongside nature comes with a responsibility: to observe, respect, and protect the wildlife that surrounds us. We never want to interfere with nature unnecessarily, but when an animal is in immediate danger, we believe it is important to act responsibly and seek professional help.
This little guy was certainly an unexpected guest, but one we were very happy to help. 🤎🌿
