Casa Marlin, Manuel Antonio-Quepos We are currently closed for the 2020 season

26/09/2015

even though it is only September 2015 the season in costa rica is now in the real rainy season....but good news due to el nino we are having a dry wet season, and the prices in tourist districts are rock bottom, the weather is cooler and the little rain we are getting is washing the dust from the trees and Costa Rica.
is at one of its most beautiful times.
Casa Marlin has had its best season so far. You can tell that the economy is picking up in north America. Prices are at an all time low at Casa Marlin at this season.
After living here for almost two years I have been here for all the seasons. I have found that the high season is not My personal favorite. I love June, July and August. Light misty rains in the afternoon. the weather is cool.
and heavy rains at night, Just like Camelot.

River rafting and running the rapids is Great this time of year for older family members and children. the water is low and even "the mouth of the devil" is ok for kids. (and me) The river has a wonderful waterfall where you can swim and the car sized boulders are incredibly beautiful piled in heaps in the curves of the river. How long and how far down the river these rocks must roll to get so smooth.

Bring the kids and grandma and grandpa. There are no steps to enter the house and two bedrooms and the living area is on the same level. The swimming pool is also right at the level of the living room. Easy entrance and exit for both generations.
