If you came to Costa Rica to spend more time outside, this is a pretty good way to do it.
Kayaking the lower Savegre River takes you from freshwater into the mangroves and eventually toward the Pacific Coast — watching the landscape change as you go.
No rush. Just a few hours on the water, wildlife somewhere around you, and a completely different view of this part of Costa Rica.
And when the timing works out, sunset is waiting at the other end.
