Located 5 minutes outside of town and pristine the beaches of Samara, Costa Rica.
Nightly rate starting at $125, depending on dates. (3 night minimum). Weekly and Monthly rates also available, rates depend on dates.
No animals allowed.

It's World Parrot Day!
The in Punta Islita, Costa Rica is located 35 minutes south of Casa Hamsa, and is a great spot to check out when in Samara.
It is neat to see these birds living in their natural habitat. Many Parrot species are on the brink of extinction, so their work of recovering their natural habitat and releasing these birds back into the wild is imperative for the survival of the species. There have been sightings in Samara, so be on the lookout!
I encourage you to learn more about their program as it is really great work and definitely while staying at Casa Hamsa.
We do see green parrots, typically daily in the early morning and late afternoon. They like the trees in the front yard.

A lot of people ask what is the best time to visit Costa Rica. In my opinion, there is not a bad time!
The chart below is pretty accurate, so figured it is worth a share.

Low season (August- November) is a few months away and we do have some availability. 😉

How cool is this! She was seen about 30 miles north of Playa Samara, our beach! 🐋

La imagen fue capturada por el piloto y fotógrafo Felipe Cháves ayer domingo cerca de Sámara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

De acuerdo con expertos, este es el primer avistamiento de la especie en nuestro país, pues sólo hay tres registros en el mundo, y todos corresponden a lugares al otro lado del Océano Pacífico.

La imagen es simplemente espectacular. 😍
