I found these lovely strawberry plants at the farmers market. Our hotel is up in the cool hills above Alajuela where strawberries grow into fine sumptuous red plump…..well you get the drift.

What’s so fun about planting cilantro here in our new garden is that when I buy “culantro ” at the vegetable market it comes with the taproot attached. So I just cut the tops off and use them in cooking and plant the root part.
