Our Story

Pequeña empresa familiar, dedicada al ecoturismo y al desarrollo integral de una granja. No somos un destino de lujo ni pretencioso, estamos enfocados en ofrecer un servicio personalizado y diferente para cada cliente. Lo que se produce en nuestra granja forma parte del menú de alimentos que vendemos en nuestro bar restaurante, luego los desechos orgánicos del mismo van de vuelta a nuestra granja para alimentar a nuestros animales y jardines, así creando un círculo ecológico equilibrado. Ofrecemos un servicio de habitaciones estilo cabaña rústica, enfocado a un turista que busca aventura, paz, alejarse del bullicio y la vida acelerada de la ciudad. En el bar restaurante contamos con una serie de platillos locales muy sabrosos y también bocadillos originales que nuestro chef tiene para todos los gustos.

Si busca una aventura por el bosque tropical, un encanto para el paladar, una caminata radical rodeado de bosque virgen, nadar en un rio paradisiaco, un ride en Kayak o simplemente un rato entre amigos y personas agradables ya sabe a dónde ir. Small family business, typical Costa Rican rustic style wooden cabañas surrounded by beautiful lush gardens, we offer accommodation for travelers that want something off the beaten path, not a luxury destination, we are focused on conservation and sustainability. Our pub is the oldest building in the area, being 140 years old, it used to be the main general market in the Sarapiquí and San Carlos area having a lot history in the background. Our furnishing it's all re used and most of the wooden structures are built with re purposed wood that was already on a building or a structure before we used it here. We offer outdoors pool with spring water (cold), there is a comfortable equipped shared kitchen in the common area which is inside a Hacienda kind of building open to the garden areas and a great balcony over viewing the Sarapiquí jungle.

The farm works together with the pub&restaurant providing it with meat, milk, cheese and veggies. Very calm area, great for bird watching, adventure hiking, very close to the airport(40km) also the Poás volcano it's just 50 minutes away. Great views from the rooms to the mountains and gardens. There are many activities you can enjoy in the 20 minute range like waterfall hikes, swimming in the rivers with turquoise color pools, hot springs, hanging bridges, coffee tours, etc, etc..... Be ready for the rain at any moment. We also offer outdoor sports like rafting, kayak and canoe tours. We just opened our whitewater tours operations this year and we have one of the very few #4 & #5 white water rapids in Costa Rica, called ̈Pailas by Los Gallitos ̈, so if you are interested in getting the Pura Vida vibe go ahead and book with us ;) !
