Yesterday, we celebrated Costa Rica’s 205th Independence Day: a beautiful reminder of the freedom, peace, and sense of community that make us such a special country. At Villa Azahares, we celebrated in two ways🌿:
- A quiet moment at home: A peaceful and cloudy day overlooking the mountains, flowers, gardens, and our nature. 🌿⛰️

- And an evening shared in community. We were delighted to join Community Action Alliance (CAA) for a wonderful gathering with friends and expats from the USA, Canada, and other parts of the world. Good conversation, new connections, and delicious local pizza made for a lovely evening together. 🍕🌎

Nature, community, and the simple pleasures of everyday life: this is what we cherish at Villa Azahares. 💚

Our new and spacious recycling area makes sustainable habits easier for everyone. And here we have Luis Sr. proudly using out our new space😊!
