We spent the morning exploring the Tamarindo estuary with local guide Daniel Arrieta. After years of guiding these waters, Daniel knew exactly where to take us. We spotted crocodiles, monkeys and beautiful birds along the way.

He was knowledgeable, informative and made the entire experience fascinating. We’ll definitely be recommending this trip to our guests!

Some birthdays are measured by the number of candles.

65 looked like dolphins dancing alongside the boat, sea turtles gliding beneath the water, hours spent in the Costa Rican sun and ocean, and a day surrounded by wonderful friends.

For those who know Frances, you know she isn’t someone who sits still. She’s the heart behind Estrellas del Pacífico....the one welcoming guests, sharing her favourite beaches and restaurants, answering questions, and helping people fall in love with Tamarindo the way she did.

Costa Rica didn’t just become her home.
It became her happy place.

And one of her greatest joys is sharing that feeling with everyone who stays with us.
