Cómo llegar

A rural getaway in Santa Cruz, Costa Rica. A peaceful stay in the mountains of Turrialba. Finca La Calandria sits on the hill side of Santa Cruz, Costa Rica.

One view of the house over looks the green hillside and the other looks up to the smoking Turrialba Volcano. It's a short drive into the town of Turrialba where there is a lot of activity. You can visit many markets, clothing stores, and street vendors. Or you can enjoy on of the many city's parks. The finca is a 2 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home with 2 outside porches that allow you to take in all of the beauty of the property. While at the house, if you sit quietly enough on the porch you might be lucky enough to see the toucans that live high in the trees. This is great destination to get away and enjoy relaxation and the outdoors. Take a walk around the house's 3 acres and enjoy all the different plant species and birds. Sit and relax on the porch while looking out to the green hill side and farmland. There are many activities to do and sights to see all around Santa Cruz and Turrialba. Not to mention the most delicious food to eat, our personal favorites are the road side 'sodas' where you can enjoy the local cuisine. The terrain is very mountainous and great for hiking and cycling. We would love to share more about this with you!
