In the heart of Novi Sad, where history intertwines with modern life, stands the Saborna crkva — located right next to the Bishop’s Palace.
The first church on this site was built in the 18th century, but was destroyed during the bombardment of 1849. Rebuilt in the mid-19th century, it gained its present appearance in the early 20th century, with its distinctive bell tower that still dominates the city center.
Its interior further reflects its significance — the iconostasis was painted by Paja Jovanović, while the wall paintings were created by Stevan Aleksić.
Today, as everyday life unfolds around it, the church remains a symbol of continuity and identity.
Staying at Hotel Pupin places you right at the center of that rhythm — close enough to experience the city, yet tucked away enough to enjoy complete comfort and peace.
