ESTAMOS EN EL AÑO DEL BICENTENARIO / WE ARE IN THE YEAR OF THE BICENTENARY .--
Cienfuegos nacía como ciudad un 22 de abril de 1819 y el devenir del mundo en ese año estaba inmerso en guerras de independencia y en proclamas de nacientes constituciones. Las fronteras de los paises estaban aún por definir, muy lejos de las que conocemos en este 2019. Se sucedían pactos y el mundo era caldo de cultivo y se preparaba con la ayuda del motor de v***r, para la Revolución Industrial, la Ilustración y las guerras del opio que propiciaron la intervención del bloque occidental en la política interna de Asia Pacífico.
En ese 1819 nacieron la Reina Victoria de Inglaterra y Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, líder independentista cubano. Fallece James Watt , el inventor de la máquina de v***r y el rey de España de aquella época, Fernando VII, vende a Estados Unidos la península de Florida y Oregón. También en ese año, zarpa de Nueva York el buque Savannah, primer barco a v***r que atraviesa el Atlántico.
Cienfuegos no estaba solo y junto a compañeros de viaje como es el Museo del Prado en Madrid (España) y la proclamación de independencia de Colombia, CUMPLEN SU BICENTENARIO DE EXISTENCIA.

Cienfuegos was born as a city on April 22, 1819 and the future of the world in that year was immersed in wars of independence and proclamations of nascent constitutions. The borders of the countries were still to be defined, very far from those we know in 2019. Agreements were taking place and the world was a breeding ground and was prepared with the help of the steam engine, for the Industrial Revolution, the Enlightenment and the o***m wars that led to the intervention of the Western bloc in the internal politics of Asia Pacific.
In that 1819 were born Queen Victoria of England and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, Cuban independence leader. James Watt, the inventor of the steam engine and the king of Spain at the time, Fernando VII, sold the peninsula of Florida and Oregon to the United States. Also in that year, the ship Savannah, the first steam ship that crosses the Atlantic, sets sail from New York.
Cienfuegos was not alone and together with fellow travelers such as the Museo del Prado in Madrid (Spain) and the proclamation of independence of Colombia, CELEBRATE HIS BICENTENARY OF EXISTENCE.
