El Cuarto Cubano created during the colonial tradition of 1919 has been restored , while keeping the history and the nostalgie of the past , with today modernity for more confort.
El Cuarto Cubano propose :
3 typical bed-rooms, with individual sanitary.
A common breakfast area.
A large "salon de danse" where , during day time , several traditional cuban dance classes are being taught mainly by Emmanuel ( the landlord of the house who is a recognized dance teacher in La Havana). As well are being taught Yoga classes. Both classes which the visitors can follow.
In the old days this place use to be a baby doll factory, which is situated right in the heart of the old town of Havana Vieja. This area is of an important historical tradition ,which has been classified , since 1982, by the UNESCO as World Heritage and Patrimony.
This year 2019 is a rare opportunity to discover the Cuban Capital which celebrates its 500th anniversary. Its a special time for the visitors to enjoy the numerous cultural and artistic events.
It is as well the 100th birthday of our Casa wich is going to open for welcoming our visitors.
Our house is ideally situated in "Calle O'reilly" just by the famous "Calle Obispo" a few steps away from El Prado , the Bay and the Malecon. Right in the heart of all the touristic, cultural and musical activities. Near by all the legendaries bars, restaurants and "paladars"... theaters, cinemas for an unforgettable time spend in this animated city.
It's obvious that this is the place were you will appreciate to the full the Cuban atmosphere and where you will discover the charm and the glamour of this fascinating Caribbean city.
We are a Cuban- French family, who enjoy traveling, discover ,share and welcome other people.
At home at La Havana Vieja, we have created a place which offer what we like to encounter when we travel. A pleasant, simple , easy- going space !
