The Bed & Breakfast Sakaroulé is situated in Santa Maria on the island of Sal in Cape Verde, and existing since 1999. Created and run by the long time island residents -the Italo French couple, Paola & Laurent- this charming two floor mansion covered in vibrant orange and with a stylish facade design inspired by dunes and waves, is definitely a place you notice when passing by on the new main road

The Sakaroulé house is situated in the heart of a true Cape Verdean neighborhood less than 5 minutes walk from the beach, which is praised as the most beautiful in the whole country and world wide famous for the wide stretch of sand and breathtaking crystal clear ocean. We are opened all year round and offer single, double rooms and studios with kitchenette for very competitive and affordable prices. Each room has a private bathroom. The daily cleaning is included, except on Sundays. Our trusted cleaning lady, Sandra, can also take care of washing and ironing your personal laundry, on request. The breakfast is served every day from 8 a.m. On your placemats are: delicious bananas that grows on the island, yoghurt, pastries, bread, butter & marmalade, a glass of juice, and hot drinks such as coffee, tea or chocolate. During those morning hours the guests are free to visit our library and pick up a book for their holiday, as well as to have information about anything concerning the activities and life on the island. Where to dine? Where to change currency? Or, where to shop? Our staff, resident in Sakaroule', Simone and Sara will be happy to help you for any necessity. He would prepare you an updated list of recommended restaurants and pubs, assist you in renting car, quad, scooter, bike or jet ski, suggest you the excursion routes, advise you about the diving and water sport centers, inform you about wind and whether forecast. We are also promoting yoga & meditation classes with Sal Yoga www.salyoga.com which you can join to further relax and restore your energies before traveling back. As you may have already imagined it, we are putting all our European know-how in the managing of this guesthouse, creating an informal and friendly atmosphere, where you can familiarize with the local life in Cape Verde while enjoying the comfort of the Sakaroulé. We would also like to remind you the whether on Sal is almost perfect with sunny days and mild climate all year round.
