The beach is just a 3 minute walk away and the picturesque fishing harbour of Latchi with its famous restaurants a 5 min walk. At night you can sit and relax in the local beach bar, enjoy the music, and even take a midnight swim and return to the bar ! Charming Polis is a 5 min drive with its wide range of taverns and restaurants, many situated around the paved town square. And of course the legendary Baths of Aphrodite are only 4.0 km away.

So here we are. With 6 weeks to go we have approximately 2 weeks more work to do (though I know it looks more). The pergola is being made now and will be installed week after next. The whirlpool bath arrives Monday 20th April. Next week we will start the veranda stones. A bit behind due to the large amounts of rainfall in February and March but we are not complaining as our dams badly needed the water. This time last year they were at 25% and we are now at 35% so good.

4th and final phase of concreting done. Now we can start to lay the mosaics.

After the heavy rains last week we have finally finished all the concreting and earth works. We can now start to lay the concrete for the stones and marble. and then start to fit Mosaics. We have finalised the plans for the electrics and the new Pergola will start in early March.

Now filled in. We now start on the balancing pool and whirlpool bath concreting. Got some good news today as the tiles and mosaics have arrived in Cyprus from Spain. 3 weeks earlier then expected. Still lots to do mind but these are key milestones.

So after just over a month we have done the first concreting. We were hit a bit by some bad weather the last week but all good so far. The last 2 pictures here show the mosaics and tiles as well as the microbricks we are using. These arrive from Spain around Mid January but the micro bricks come from believe it or not Syria.
