There are places we think we know, until we are invited to see them again.
This past weekend in Lefkara, a cultural initiative by A. G. Leventis Scholars Association Cyprus offered a more attentive way of moving through the village.
Architecture, craft, and conversation came together as a quiet reflection on what shapes the identity of a place over time. The geometry of Lefkaritika lace, the restraint of the interiors, the small, familiar details of daily life all began to reveal a different depth. Not something preserved at a distance, but something lived, evolving, and still present.
It was a pleasure to host part of this experience at Ample, offering a stay shaped by the same textures, materials, and quiet rhythms that define Lefkara and its cultural heritage.
