'Semiramis Hotel' The hotel was named after the legendary queen of Assyria, Semiramis, also known as Shamiram in Aramaic.Her charm and appeal shine through all the relevant myths, suggesteing that she was a personification goddess Astarte that later evolved into a great Assyrian queen. The hotel was built in the early 1900s and while it retains its 1920s' classic elegance, it now features, after a recent renovation, a sophisticated interior design,combining traditional hospitality and welcoming environment, guaranteed please every guest. The interior of the hotel has been redesigned. Bedrooms are arranged in such a way as allow internal private facilities.
