Hey, I’m Chantal.

I bought Villanelle in July 2020

In 2018 I retired young from my corporate governance and risk management career in Australia and moved to Kitzbühel, Austria. Not long after arriving in Kitzbühel, I became a partner in ski hostel, and part owner of a start-up home services based business. Fast forward to March 2020 when I became stranded in Cyprus on holidays and, as happens to many of the expat

community in Cyprus, I decided to stay and consolidate my life here, at least for the foreseeable future. My passion is helping those who don’t have a voice and can’t help themselves. I volunteer my
effort to help abandoned, neglected and stray dogs and help feed some of the cat colonies. My objective is TO BE THE CHANGE I want to see in others. There is much that needs to change about how animals and the environment are regarded culturally. We can’t change the culture overnight but we can help many of those who desperately need it! My hope is to contribute to improving animal welfare outcomes, one or two foster dogs at a time! My other passions include all things nature, hiking, skiing, music, specially music festivals, property investment, renovating, interior design and decorating, dining out, friends hanging out at Villanelle (when no guests).
