We believe in returning to what truly matters: to our roots, to the memories that shape our identity, and to the sense of genuine hospitality that embraces every guest from the very first moment. In the heart of the village, we have created a sanctuary of calm, where time takes on a different dimension and quality is found in every detail. Our name bridges the present with antiquity: Calais was the son of Boreas and grandson of Poseidon, a demi-god, winged and swift Argonaut. He is described as a beautiful, airy hero who glides through the skies at great speed. We chose this mythical name to express the light, warm and effortless hospitality that Vouni offers. Vouni Calais feels like the private countryside retreat you’ve always dreamed of: quiet, elegant, real. Every corner, every material, every ray of light is thoughtfully selected to create a sense of intimacy and understated beauty — as if it has always been part of your own story.
