Dear friends,

Tomorrow on the 28th of September Czech Republic celebrates Czech Statehood Day or (St. Wenceslas Day). For many people it means a day off from work. But our hotel team will be working as usual without rests, in order to create great atmosphere and an unforgettable time for our guests at Union Hotel.

🌟Did you know why do Czechs cook carp for Christmas Eve? 🌟
The reason is quite simple, Czech people eat fish, when fasting, and Christmas Eve is one of such days, therefore carp features on the menu. Also, after a purchase people usually place it in to a barhtub to cleanse it, while it’s still alive. Such tradition often amazes expats😄
