SKÅL International Prague

SKÅL International Prague Association of Travel Industry Professionals Founded 18th October 1995 as the first SKÅL Club in the former communist countries in Central Europe.

At present, the Club has more than 60 members from all fields of tourism industry, all of them being top managers of the most important players in the local tourism market (hotels, airlines, travel agents, travel media)

With spring finally arriving, the April Skål Prague meeting took place in The Monkey Bar Prague located in the Falkensteiner Hotel Prague .
Traditionally, in the original and distinctive setting of the outdoor winter garden, where the overall optimistic atmosphere was significantly supported by the composition of the menu and and the exceptional service.

We thank Mr. Claudio Sturm and look forward to further valuable conversations, exchange of views and networking among Skål colleagues in this inspiring environment.

Today we met at the Easter-decorated NH Collection Prague Carlo IV hotel, where we were welcomed by the hotel's General Manager, Mr. Martin Žídek.

During the welcome drink, Mr. René Bos, CEO of Aegix, introduced the members in an engaging way to the current cybersecurity threats, especially in the hotel services segment, and how to effectively counter them.

The event concluded with a seasonal Easter lunch menu, enjoyed in great company and reflecting the hotel's outstanding culinary standards.

February Luncheon & 2026 AGA at Panorama By Verdi Hotels was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, full of constructive discussions and true Skål spirit.

A big thank you to Hotel GM Mr. Ivan Dvořák for hosting us so generously.

During the General Assembly, members unanimously elected Michaela Vaszi as the new Secretary of the Club. At the same time, we expressed our sincere appreciation to Karel Zelený, who has decided to step away from active membership, for his dedication and long-term contribution to the Club.

Thank you, Karel, and welcome to your new role, Michaela.

What a summer evening to remember! ☀️🌇 Members of Skål International Prague gathered for a relaxed and cheerful BBQ at the Sky Lounge rooftop terrace of the NH Collection Prague.

A big thank you to our gracious host, Mr. Petr Nešpůrek, General Manager of the hotel, for the warm welcome and a perfect setting with breathtaking views over Prague.

Delicious grilled specialties, cool drinks, and great conversations created the perfect summer vibe. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect, unwind, and enjoy the spirit of Skål – where friendship meets business in the best possible way.

Another inspiring Skål International Prague gathering took place on April 24, 2025, this time at the elegant NH Collection Carlo IV, thanks to the kind invitation of the hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Martin Žídek.

We started with a welcome drink in the former cigar bar, where Mr. David Ralita from Infor gave us a compelling insight into his company’s hotel industry solutions. A delightful spring lunch menu followed, rounding off a truly enjoyable and well-organized members’ meeting.
