We are happy to announce that Hase Studio will open its doors to a new exhibition on November 1st at 1pm.
The photo exhibition „TOMORROW WAS DIFFERENT“ by brings together street photography and portraits from travels mostly across South America and Asia - many shown for the first time. The images capture moments that existed only once: Unrepeatable small human stories when light, people, and emotion briefly aligned before changing again. Tomorrow was different.

The main highlight is the vernissage on Saturday, Nov 1, around 4 PM: We’ll have some drinks, the photographer shares a few words and stories behind the work, and later the producer Stevo Bajski will play a vinyl set — starting with mellow downtempo sounds and easing into some fine house tunes through the evening.

On the Point of Departure is an exhibition on the fragile infrastructures of nourishment; how water, labor, and land sustain the abundance of Europe’s food system. Through works shaped by water, land, and care and explore the distances and dependencies that tie Berlin to landscapes far beyond it. Where does reality end, and illusion begin?
Five artistic positions explore how perception is constructed and manipulated from different perspectives. The works in this exhibition reveal the subtle mechanisms that shape our reality—showing how fact and fiction are often inseparably intertwined. Video works, photographs, ceramic sculptures, sound art and installations make us experience the fragility of our visual habits.

A.PHANTASIA ~ FIELDS OF IMAGING features computer-generated and code-manipulated visuals of phosphenes and inner, usually unseen, experiences: glowing, shifting fields that probe the boundaries between sensory perception, mental imagery, and imagination.

Who is Tiquarit?
I, the person behind Tiquarit, live in Berlin. Family man, teacher at a hotspot school, allotment gardener, unionist. Media, theories and concepts, events and conversations impress me so much that I have to react - in text and pictures. What drives me? Freedom as the absence of domination provides one touchstone, care another. I look at current movements, new concepts and developments from these perspectives. On the one hand, I therefore deal with the idea of common goods and redistribution. On the other hand, I distrust a spirituality of self-optimization. I am looking forward to discussions that challenge me to further reactions!

Wer ist Tiquarit?
Ich, der Mensch hinter Tiquarit, lebe in Berlin. Familienvater, Lehrer an einer Brennpunktschule, Kleingärtner, Gewerkschaftler. Medien, Theorien und Konzepte, Ereignisse und Unterhaltungen beeindrucken mich so, dass ich reagieren muss – in Text und Bild. Was treibt mich? Freiheit als die Abwesenheit von Herrschaft gibt den einen Prüfstein ab, Fürsorge den anderen. Aktuelle Bewegungen, neue Konzepte und Entwicklungen betrachte ich aus diesen Perspektiven. Einerseits setze ich mich daher mit der Idee der Gemeinschaftsgüter und der Umverteilung auseinander. Andrerseits misstraue ich einer Spiritualität der Selbstoptimierung. Ich freue mich auf Diskussionen, die mich zu weiteren Reaktionen herausfordern!

hase is a place to play; hase (eng: hare, rabbit, bunny) itself has a playful image. We rent things that are suitable for play for young and old.
"Spiel" translated into English means play or also game. Game translated back can mean "Spiel", "Partie" but also "Wild". Where is the border between Play and Wild? ... until one cries? Is this where Art brute comes into play? What is the opposite of play? Work, seriousness? Why do adults hardly have access to play, and children in turn usually find nothing more exciting? When do adults actually play at all?
The examination of a word, a concept, can open doors that usually seem closed to us in everyday life.
We want to open doors, and preferably lift them off their hinges.
Interactive, with music, fun and games, with people.

An invitation to look closer; close enough to render detail superfluous as focus succumbs to feeling. Something about forgiveness being the fragrance left behind by flowers when they are crushed. And so it goes.

welcomes Luca to Hase and sets the petal kingdom and its ephemerality next to the mere permanence of rocks (you want to climb). A contrast in transience.
