Between the green zoo and the urban jungle, designer Werner Aisslinger and his team have created 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin. Half of the rooms look out over the ape and elephant enclosure in Berlin Zoo, while the other half enjoy a stunning view of one of Berlin‘s most history-laden landmarks, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. On the tenth floor, enjoying a phenomenal panoramic view, NENI Berlin and the Monkey Bar serve an eclectic mix of world cuisine in collaboration with trendsetting Austrian restaurateur Haya Molcho.

"Digital technology [...] takes away our ability to daydream" – Florian "Doc" Kaps SUPERSENSE

Florian Kaps, or Doc as he is known, worries digital technology is stifling our ability to enjoy the human senses. “You cannot be happy people with just digital,” says this Austrian entrepreneur. “You need reality. Digital technology tickles just two of your senses: you can see it and you can hear it. But you need to smell, touch and taste to be a happy human. In the end, we’re all analogue creatures, seeking physical, tactile and meaningful means of expression.”

At 25hours Hotels we believe in making use of all our senses, which is why you can find typewriters, record players, our printed Companion magazines, and books in pretty much all our hotels.

In summer we love to spend every minute possible outside, ideally in the park or at the lake. To skip the sweaty public transports, we prefer taking one of the many schindelhauer bikes that can be rented when staying with us. 🚲 ride it like you stole it.
