🏃🏻‍♂️ Two Hotels. One Mission. Endless Team Spirit. 🏃🏼‍♀️

This month, our teams in Mainz and Cologne took part in two incredible running events, proving that distance doesn’t matter when you share the same values.

From the Mainz Corporate Run to the B2Run in Cologne, our colleagues laced up their running shoes, challenged themselves, and celebrated what truly brings us together: teamwork, wellbeing, and community. 👟

Filled with motivation, determination, and plenty of smiles along the way, both events were a great success. We are proud of every runner and supporter who brought our team spirit to life and created such an amazing atmosphere.

Here’s to staying active, supporting one another, and creating memorable moments together, both inside and outside the workplace. Because no matter the city, our team spirit always crosses the finish line together. 🏁

Explore Hilton - Apprentice exchange 💙

Sophie had a wonderful 2-week exchange at the Waldorf Astoria in Berlin.
During her exchange, Sophie gained valuable experience working in the restaurant, Front Office, and Room Service departments. The exchange allowed her to explore different areas of hotel operations and broaden her professional perspective.

Reflecting on her experience, Sophie shared: ‘’During my time in the exchange program, I was able to gain many new perspectives and valuable impressions.
What I especially enjoyed was working within the team, because everyone was incredibly supportive and there was a very positive team dynamic. This made collaboration very easy. ‘’ We are so proud of you Sophie & happy to have you back in Frankfurt!

Girls & Boys Day ✨
Planting the seeds for the next generation of female F&D leaders 🌱

As part of Girls & Boys Day, we had the pleasure of welcoming three motivated students to our Food & Drinks departments. Throughout the day, they gained valuable insights into our daily operations, from hands-on experience to leadership roles within hospitality.
With passion, openness, and expertise, our team showcased what female leadership in F&D truly looks like. As inspiring role models, they created visibility, confidence, and motivation for the next generation 💛
We were also delighted to welcome our Regional F&B Director, highlighting how important it is at every leadership level to support young talent and actively promote diversity within our industry.

Empowering young women, making leadership tangible & inspiring passion for Food & Drinks, that’s how we shape the future of hospitality. ✨

Promotions at ✨

This month we’re celebrating two amazing team members: Nils & David! After completing their apprenticeships with us last year, they joined our Front Office Team as Front Desk Agents and from day one, they’ve impressed with passion, genuine hospitality, and a fantastic team spirit.

What truly sets them apart is their constant drive to learn and grow. Both are always eager to expand their skills, taking on cross trainings beyond their apprenticeship, including departments like Engineering, to better understand how our hotel’s operations interconnect and to strengthen their own expertise.

Now, we’re excited to celebrate their well-deserved promotions. Congratulations, both of you, thank you for your dedication, your energy, and the positivity you bring to every single day.
We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you! 🩵

Kölle Alaaf! Celebrating Teamwork at its best at Hilton Cologne 🎈🎉

What an unforgettable Carnival season at . On Weiberfastnacht and Carnival Saturday, we again welcomed more than 1,500 guests each day. Both events wäre vibrant, full of energy, music, and Cologne spirit.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible team. From bar and service to restaurant, kitchen and stewarding, housekeeping, engineering, cloakroom, token sales, and logistics - everyone contributed with passion, teamwork, and a lot of passion for hospitality. 🫶🏼

We’re incredibly proud of what we achieved together and are already counting the days to the next Carnival season kickoff on November 11th. 📆

What a successful weekend at CHANCE - Gießen’s career fair! 📚🏫

We had the pleasure of representing Hilton Frankfurt City Centre & Hilton Frankfurt Airport at Hesse’s largest career fair.

Meeting potential new team members, introducing Hilton and our culture and discussing possible career paths – it was a great opportunity to show what Hilton has to offer.
Especially for apprentices – we are very optimistic to receive many great applications from future apprentices!

From Apprentice to Senior Food & Drinks Supervisor – Celebrating Sara’s 5-Year Journey at Hilton Cologne! 🌟

This week, we were thrilled to celebrate Sara’s 5‑year journey with us. A journey filled with growth, passion, and countless moments that make Hilton such a special place to work.

Sara began her career at Hilton Cologne in 2021 as an apprentice and successfully completed her apprenticeship in early 2023. Since then, she has become a true heartbeat of our Food & Drinks team. With her warm personality, dedication, and care for both guests and colleagues, she creates memorable experiences every single day. She supports our apprentices, guides new team members with patience and positivity, and is always ready to lend a helping hand.

In 2024, Sara was recognized as Team Member of the First Quarter – a well‑deserved acknowledgement of her outstanding commitment and positive impact. In the same year, Sara was promoted to Food & Drinks Supervisor, and in December 2025, she reached her next milestone: Senior Food & Drinks Supervisor.

Thank you for bringing your passion, your kindness, and your smile to Team Hilton Cologne. We’re so proud of your journey and excited for everything that’s still ahead. Here’s to many more years together! 🥂
