The Fürstenzug in Dresden is the largest porcelain mural in the world, measuring 102 meters (335 feet) in length. It depicts the ancestral gallery of the 34 margraves, electors, kings, and dukes of the House of Wettin, who ruled Saxony between 1127 and 1873.

The mural was designed by the Dresden artist Wilhelm Walther and created in sgraffito technique between 1872 and 1876 to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Wettin dynasty.

Our skyline! Welcome to Dresden in East Germany, the Old Town is almost entirely rebuild, the Church of our Lady with the biggest dome northern the alps is only 20 years old, thus it looks originally like the old baroque one (1726-1743). Here you see the Brühl' terrace (or the balcony of Europe) and our river, which the romans used to call Albis- the white waters or the rivers sandy beaches back then.
