Nisse X Boston Pianos X 25hours - Part II

talks about the design of the piano and the inspiration behind its colors and visual elements. The artwork reflects both its location in Hamburg’s HafenCity and Nisse’s personal roots in the hip-hop and graffiti scene.

The layered appearance of the piano, as if it has been painted over multiple times throughout its history, is a deliberate nod to urban street art culture. It evokes the look and feel of graffiti-covered walls, reminiscent of iconic spots such as the Berlin Wall or the street art scene in Hamburg’s Altona district.

Some goodbyes are never easy.

After 15 wonderful years, it’s time to say goodbye to our beloved Schlafschaf. She’s been part of countless memories shared by both our team and our guests, becoming a true member of the 25hours family along the way.

While saying goodbye is bittersweet, it makes us smile to look back on all the moments we’ve shared with her. However, we’re happy to know she’s finally reunited with her partner in crime, the Schlafmeise from 👩‍❤️‍👩
