In the listed brick building of the former office of the Hamburg Port Authority, the Augsburg design team DREIMETA created a cosy captain’s home. NENI Hamburg restaurant takes you on a culinary journey around the world while at The Boilerman Bar Highballs are the stars – short drinks served in frozen glasses with two ice cubes.

Hard to believe, but around 25 years ago, the view outside our doors looked completely different. 🤯😲

Photographer Thomas Hampel captured this view before HafenCity became the neighborhood we know today.

The photograph was part of the 2025 exhibition "Stadt im Fluss" and now hangs in our Altes Hafenamt, which is by the way the oldest building in the HafenCity.

Some stories just belong on walls!!

Meet Haya Molcho, the woman behind NENI. ✨ 🍋

Born in Tel Aviv and based in Vienna, Haya started out with a small catering business, bringing people together over family recipes and the flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean. Together with her four sons, that idea grew into NENI: a restaurant concept built around sharing, hospitality, and good food.

Today, there are 13 NENI restaurants across Europe, including one right here at 25hours Hotel Altes Hafenamt.

Did you know that 25hours Hotel Altes Hafenamt is the OLDEST building in Hamburg's HafenCity?

As a listed building, many of its original features had to stay when it was transformed into a hotel. The old doors are one of them. Instead of being replaced, they were given a second life as the headboards in our guest rooms.

It's little details like these that give the hotel its one-of-a-kind character.
