Not your usual summer training.

Katharina Hennig Dotzler back on skis at the Dachstein Glacier. After countless kilometres on roller skis, there's nothing quite like the feeling of real snow under your feet.

More airtime, more repetitions. 🏂

For Christoph Lechner, summer training meant heading to Japan for halfpipe airbag sessions — working on tricks, rotations and control with a softer landing.

But not everything happens in the air. Upper-body and core strength play a major role in his injury-prevention training, alongside leg workouts and endurance sessions to maintain overall fitness.

From the gym to the airbag — plenty of work behind those few seconds in the air.

Für Sabrina Cantu hieß die Vorbereitung: Kilometer sammeln, Kraft aufbauen und Kondition entwickeln – auf dem Bike, mit dem Tretroller und regelmäßig mit den Hunden in den Bergen.

Höhenmeter statt Schnee. Ausdauerarbeit statt Schlitten. Und immer dabei: das Zusammenspiel mit den Hunden, das im Winter den Unterschied macht.
