However, the calm won't last long: as early as 26 September, Halloween will take centre stage at Disneyland Park.

If you're visiting in the next few days and would like to see "A Million Splashes of Colour" one last time, don't miss this opportunity. It's still completely unclear whether the show will ever return after that.

In Frontierland, not far from Big Thunder Mountain, you will find the Overland Trail Café – a small snack stand designed like a rustic outpost. Wood, wagon wheels and Western décor blend seamlessly into the surroundings.
The menu is straightforward: loaded nachos and churros, which have cult status among many guests. Add a hot chocolate and your afternoon is sorted.
Please note: the Overland Trail Café is not always open, especially in the off-season. When it is open, it is ideal for a quick stop to satisfy your hunger or have a drink before heading back to the adventure.

❄️ In 2015, the first major Frozen offshoot, ‘Chantons La Reine des Neiges’, moved into the Chaparral Theatre. The format was designed as an interactive sing-along show and was aimed at families who wanted to experience the hits from the film live once again. The stage, lighting and projections were designed to transform the Frontierland theatre into a winter wonderland.
🎶 Anna and Kristoff narrated the show, supported by projections that brought scenes from the film to life on the large back wall. Olaf appeared in animated sequences, while Elsa provided the highlight in the finale with ‘Let It Go’. The audience was actively involved – lyrics were displayed on screens, and the younger guests in particular often turned the performance into a huge sing-along concert.
🌟 The show ran during the summer and winter seasons from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, the programme returned one last time before the theatre was closed and eventually converted into the Frontierland Theatre. With the premiere of The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands in 2019, the Frozen show disappeared from the park for good.
🧭 Frozen Sing Along combined the popularity of the film with a stage experience that invited the audience to sing along and participate in a simple but effective way.

When it comes to food, finding a restaurant at Disneyland Paris with fussy eaters can quickly become a challenge. Fortunately, there are a few fairly safe bets offering simple, familiar dishes:
🌭 Casey's Corner – hot dogs, nuggets, and chips
🍕 Pizzeria Bella Notte – a variety of pizzas and pasta dishes
🍔 McDonald's in Disney Village – the classic choice if you want to play it safe
Especially when you're not keen on trying new foods, these three restaurants offer a good chance of finding something suitable.

✨ The next new opening is on the cards at Disney Village: Disney Wonders is set to open its doors in mid-September 2026, bringing a new shopping concept to Disneyland Paris.

🏰 The focus will be on products from the worlds of Disney and Pixar, as well as from the Star Wars and Marvel universes. At the same time, the shopping experience itself will be redesigned.

📅 So, if you’re visiting Disneyland Paris soon, you’ll be able to check out the new shop for yourselves. An exact opening date has not yet been announced.

🛏️ The transition will be complete by the end of September. From then on, only the new bungalows will be available to you at the Disney Davy Crockett Ranch.

🐿️ In the newly designed accommodation, you’ll encounter, amongst others, Fieselschweif’s Little Band. The new bungalows combine the ranch’s familiar nature theme with significantly more Disney details.

🌲 You’ll soon be able to book the first new rooms at the Disney Sequoia Lodge

🏨 From 19 February 2027, the first refurbished rooms at the Disney Sequoia Lodge will be available to guests. This means that, for the first time, you as guests will be able to experience the hotel’s ongoing refurbishment first-hand.

📅 The new rooms are set to become available when bookings open for the 2027/2028 season. If you’re keen to book one of the refurbished rooms specifically, you shouldn’t miss the launch.

🔥 Interest is likely to be particularly high for the very first available dates. So, if you want to experience the new Sequoia Lodge as early as possible, you should be prepared.

🎭 You’ll have to do without ‘Mickey and the Magician’ in 2027

🔨 The Animagique Theatre at Disney Adventure World is set to undergo refurbishment from 10 January 2027. Unfortunately, this means the ‘Mickey and the Magician’ show will be suspended for the duration of the works.

📅 If you’re planning your trip for 2027 and are keen to see ‘Mickey and the Magician’, you should bear this date in mind. It is not yet known how long the renovation will take or when the show will return.
