A connection to the mountains, right from your room. ⛰️

While Munich Marriott Hotel is located in the heart of Schwabing, the Bavarian Alps are never far from mind.

This connection is reflected in the bespoke artwork featured throughout our guest rooms. Created exclusively for Munich Marriott Hotel by artist Rainer Henze, the collection Gebirge ("Mountains") reinterprets Alpine landscapes through abstract, minimalist forms. Crafted as elegant embossed prints on fine cotton paper, the artworks depict motifs such as mountain peaks, summit crosses, alpine horizons, and moonlit mountain scenes.

Framed in crisp white passe-partouts and frames, the pieces blend seamlessly into the rooms' design concept, adding depth and character while preserving the calm, understated atmosphere of the space while staying with us. A subtle reminder that one of Bavaria's most iconic landscapes is always within reach.
