Honestly? Because there’s way more work behind it than people think:

– Stripping the beds & making them fresh
– Washing towels & bed linen
– Drying, ironing & folding everything neatly
– Deep cleaning the bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, mirrors)
– Vacuuming & mopping
– Wiping down all surfaces & furniture
– Cleaning the windows
– Checking & cleaning the kitchen
– Taking out the trash
– Setting everything up so you feel comfortable

… and that’s after every single guest. 🙃

On top of that: time, organization, wear & tear, utilities – and a lot of attention to detail.

And of course there are ongoing costs too:
rent/mortgage, electricity, water, heating, furnishings, maintenance & replacements.

In the end, i want you to arrive and just think: “Wow, I feel at home here.” 🧡
