When the Hotel Circle Inn opened ist doors in the autumn of 2001 as an entirely non-smoking hotel, this was a small sensation in Germany.

(We have a covered smokers’ pavilion in the garden.) Our special ventilation system brings fresh, pollen-filtered air into our rooms 24 hours a day; simultaneously, the used air is extracted. Allergy sufferers in particular appreciate this. Our unique, completely computer-controlled heating/cooling system offers you maximum comfort. The construction and decor of the Hotel were based on the ancient

art of Feng Shui, which you will find reflected in many small details throughout the building (curves/colours). You will find our large, well furnished rooms most comfortable, regardless of the length of your stay.

Das Hotel Circle Inn öffnete seine Türen im Herbst 2001 als reines Nichtraucherhotel; zum damaligen Zeitpunkt eine kleine Sensation! (Im Garten befindet sich ein Raucherpavillon)

Ein speziell eingebautes Belüftungssystem führt rund um die Uhr frische und pollenfreigefilterte Luft in die Zimmer, gleichzeitig wird die verbrauchte Luft abgesaugt. Dies wissen besonders Allergiker zu schätzen! Auch das Heiz/Kühlsystem ist einzigartig in seiner Form. Es ist in der Decke untergebracht und sorgt durch eine komplette computergestützte Steuerung für einen maximalen Komfort. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung des Hotels wurde weitgehend an die Lehren des Feng-Shui angelehnt, was Ihnen in vielen kleinen Details (Rundungen / Farben) in unserem Haus auffallen wird. In den großen, gut ausgestatteten Zimmern fühlt man sich auch bei längerem Aufenthalt rundum wohl.

Last photo we shared was of the reception getting demolition work done now Here is the restaurant/bar getting plaster work done and ready to get to the next phase of finishing touches. The bar itself will be delivered end of next week!!!

Kids these days need to stay connected. The hotel has operated for 18 years on barely better than dial up speeds....

here we have the lines coming in for our new Gigabit speed internet connection! Another big cost for the property but it’s one of those must haves today. We will be building in an advanced network that will balance the bandwidth to each sub network on a time and load based scenario.

The three networks will cover the bar, hotel and offices. This will ensure that heavy office use will not slow the rooms and will ensure that every user can enjoy maximum bandwidth under high load.

While 27 rooms and 7 offices is no skyscraper in New York there are many things you need to take in mind with such a project. This hotel has been operating for now 18 years, systems are in place and customers are in the building. All renovations need to be planned effectively and in a way that not only brings the standard to the next level but does not disturb current guests.

The hotel rooms are being updated in 4 phases, each phase has extra rooms blocked to allow a buffer of sound to the neighboring occupied guest rooms. In addition specific routes are set for the removal of any old furniture and debris.

Modern technology needs to be at the center of the redesign however you cannot go overboard. This technology needs to withstand another 15 years so touch screens and automation are out, it will simply be outdated before you know it.

Simple amenities like top end WiFi, usb connections throughout the room, clean surfaces such as wood floors and leather furniture may be more expensive now but will give a clean feel to the guests for a longer period that carpet and fabric furniture.

Phase 2 of Renovations consists of a full interior update. This includes wallpaper removal and replacement with plaster walls. Carpet floor removal to be renewed with a modern laminat 100% new furnishings, mini bars, televisions and lighting.

Yesterday we started on our sample room. We will renovate and furnish this room over the next month and use it as our test room. Once the season slows down a bit in the fall we will start the schedule of renovating each of our 26 remaking rooms.

We are very excited to bring a new fresh look into the hotel!

We are beginning a very exciting project here at Circle Inn. Phase 1 consists of an exterior refresh which includes new paint, rain gutters and cleaning the roof. Here in the photos you can see the color samples, the garage area being painted as well as a few photos of the gardens that we will be updating!

We will then move to redoing the gardens, bringing in more privacy from the parking lot to the sitting areas as well as more outdoor seating and a kids playground.

Today we will meet with a company to discuss the plans of installing air conditioning to all of the hotel rooms!

We had a great night with our Hotel guests and some friends on the grounds. The HCI team hosted a nice evening with food and drinks in the lounge. Looking forward to next week!!

Yes, I know: It has been a little while since we've posted something on Facebook. We will keep you more updated from now on, I promise!
